Fake Emails - ACH Payments
We are working to stop the fake emails stating that your ACH payment has failed/been cancelled.

These have an attachment included that actually includes spyware that will infect your computer if you open the attachment.  Viewing the email without opening the attachment is safe, but it should be deleted as soon as one is seen.

We are stopping 99% of these but a few are slipping thru, if you see one please delete it immediately.

The ACH transfer (ID: xxxxxxxxxxxxx), recently initiated from your bank

account, was canceled by The Electronic Payments Association (NACHA).

Please  download the attachment(transfer report pdf).

If you have any questions please contact us at info@nacha.org.

Thank you for using http://www.nacha.org.

ATTENTION PCSIA.NET DIALUP SUBSCRIBERS

If you are a High Speed Internet Subscriber (DSL or Rural Wireless) these changes DO NOT affect you.

If you are a Jumpgate.net Subscriber these changes DO NOT affect you.

Effective Monday November 14, 2011 users will be required to enter their full username for dialup access. Currently you are only required to enter your user name without @PCSIA.NET. This will change 11/14/2011 and you will now have to enter YOURUSERNAME@PCSIA.NET.

IN ADDITION to the login change our dialup access numbers are being consolidated. Please verify that you are dialing our new access number 683-6535.  If you utilize the new access number now you will be required to enter your full user name (YOURUSERNAME@PCSIA.NET).

If you would like to make this transition NOW you can change your access number to 683-6535 and login with your full user name.

Affective 11/14/2011 only our current primary access number 683-4615 and our new access number 683-6535 will be functional. All other access number will be discontinued. Effective 12/31/2011 only our new number 683-6535 will be active.

Email Security Update
PCS is recommending customers take advantage of additional security features of our email servers for better protection from spammers and phishers.

We have installed a new SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate on the email and webmail servers, this allows you to connect and know that nobody else can eavesdrop on your email. This encrypts all data sent between your computer and our mail server.

Some customers are receiving errors when trying to access the webmail server. This is caused by DNS not being fully updated on all servers around the world yet. If you are experiencing an error you can temporarily use http://webmail.pcsia.net to access webmail. By the first of the week all updates should be propagated across the internet and you can use your existing https://webmail.pcsia.net shortcuts. If you have any old existing bookmark/favorite please update those as soon as you can.

For Jumpgate customers who used to access their email via http://mail.jumpgate.net you will need to update your bookmarks to https://webmail.pcsia.net. This does not affect your login just the way you connect to the servers.

If you have any questions, please contact support at 641-683-6200 or if you have access to email, please feel free to email us at support@pcsia.net

Details on implementing additional security features will be communicated over the next few months as well. Monitor your email and our home page for additional information.
